Originally trained as a Lead Guitarist, Fred Vernet chose his instrument of predilection, the Bass guitar.

For the past 20 years Fred has worked in collaboration with groups from very diverse musical spheres such as Michigan, Influence, Big Bang Studio(an instrumental group with some of the finest musicians : Olivier Dold and Georges Padovani ).

Next he decided to use his skills as a bass player to give demonstrations for Ibanez. This permitted him to participate in many music salons where he met a lot of professional musicians: Marcel Dadi/Franck Gamballe/Lenny Castro/Manu Katché/Joe Satriani/SteveVai.

At the same time he taught at the ' Ars NOVA' school in Paris, where he was once again able to meet many talented artists and participate in numerous collaborations with other musicians.

He spent several years with renowned musicians such as: Jennifer Batten , Loïc Pontieux, Thierry Mineau, Mike Stern, Clément Duventru, Pascal Mulot and the excellent drummer Paco Serry with whom he performed in a 'café concert' in Paris

Among Fred's circle of musical friends we can find virtuosos like Patrick Rondat, Misko (Guesh Patty's remarkable Bass player) Yves Choir , (Daniel Balavoine's talented guitarist) and the co founder of the group 'Little Bob Story'. It was moreover 'Little Bob Story' who introduced Fred to the great Steve Lukather , the very talented guitarist of the group TOTO and it is with him that in his apprenticeship as a musician he felt the greatest achievement

Enthusiastic admirer of Mike PORCARO ( TOTO's bass player ), he also likes the legendary Chris SQUIRE ( YES ) as well as Alain CARON ( UZEB ) three bass players from completely different musical environments.

The groups TOTO, POLICE, VAN HALEN, GONG , have more than participated in his musical education.

Determined to find his ideal group he met Vynce Leff , guitarist, composer of the group «  Sensitive to light  » who was looking for a bass player. After a few recording sessions, they decide to work together on the new album.

The adventure has begun for Fred ...
